The job of a classroom teacher is to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.

REPORTS TO: Principal

SUPERVISES: Paraprofessionals, if assigned by principal

EVALUATION: Job performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with school board policy

SALARY: In accordance with the McDuffie County Board of Education salary schedule

QUALIFICATIONS:

***A Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution

***A Valid GA Teaching Certificate:

SPED General Curriculum (P-12)
SPED Adapted Curriculum (P-12)
SPED Behavior Disorders (P-12)
SPED Learning Disabilities (P-12)
SPED LA Cognitive Level (4-8)
SPED MATH Cognitive Level (4-8)
SPED SCIENCE Cognitive Level (4-8)
SPED SOCIAL SCIENCE Cognitive Level (4-8)
SPED READING Cognitive Level (4-8)
