The job of a classroom teacher is to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.
REPORTS TO: Principal
SUPERVISES: Paraprofessionals, if assigned
EVALUATION: Job performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with school board policy
SALARY: In accordance with the McDuffie County Board of Education salary schedule

Requirements
Minimum of bachelor degree in education with a major or emphasis in the area of assignment. Valid Georgia professional teaching certification in the assigned teaching field
