The McDuffie County School system considers all of its employees to be educators. System administrators are currently gearing up to begin the process of recruiting and hiring educators for the 2026-2027 school year.
Anyone interested in joining the team should plan to visit the upcoming recruitment fair on March 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Thomson High School cafeteria (1160 White Oak Rd.). Walk-ins are welcome; however, anyone interested in attending is encouraged to submit contact information at this link or call 706-986-4000 to schedule a 15-minute appointment. Applications will be available at the event, and participants should bring copies of their résumé and any other pertinent documentation. Administrators will be on hand to conduct on-the-spot interviews.
The system is always on the lookout for great teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, bus drivers, administrative professionals, nutrition assistants, school resource officers, and the list goes on.
