Effective Monday, August 24, 2020, parents of McDuffie County School System students may pick up breakfast and lunch for their children at scheduled bus stops and at drive-thru locations at Dearing Elementary and Thomson-McDuffie Middle schools.

The McDuffie County Board of Education would like to extend the invitation to submit a bid for 840 cartons/cases (10 reams per carton/case) of domestic “All Purpose” printing/copier paper for use with high-speed, digital photocopiers, printers, duplicators, and fax machines with the following specifications: 8-1/2” x 11”, 20#, 92+ brightness, and 4# accurately cut. In response to public health data, ALL students will begin the 2020-2021 school year in the Learn from Home/Virtual Learning model.

The McDuffie County School System plans to open school facilities for students on August 17, 2020. Although the system believes face-to-face instruction is the best practice for students, families will have two instructional options for the first semester of the school year.
