Professional Learning

Professional learning (formerly known as staff development) is critical to our system's ability to provide quality education to all students. To provide quality instruction that will increase student performance, educators must be learning virtually all the time. Our educators attend professional learning courses to increase their knowledge base, hone their skills and enhance their performance in the classroom.

The best professional learning is standards-based, results-driven, consistent, and integrated into an educator’s daily routine. The administration of McDuffie County Schools strives to provide opportunities for our faculty and staff to learn and grow professionally so that they can help our students be their very best. McDuffie County is committed to having 100% of our teachers to meet the professional qualifications outlined in Title I-A and to providing the most qualified support staff for all children.
