Substitute Training

CSRA RESA 2021-22 Substitute Trainings
 
The CSRA RESA Substitute Training provides information to help individuals perform effectively and with confidence as a substitute teacher. CSRA RESA will offer the training in both face-to-face- and online formats during the 2021-22 school year.
 
Please Note: Georgia school systems are responsible for selecting and hiring substitute personnel. Please contact the district(s) in which you would like to be employed to verify that they will accept the CSRA RESA Substitute Training and inquire about their individual application procedures.
 
At the conclusion of the CSRA RESA Substitute Training, participants will receive a course completion form verifying participation. Participants should then apply with district(s) following the procedures of the school system.
 
 
Face-to-Face Substitute Trainings: Training sessions will take place at CSRA RESA
 
August 11, 2021 – 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
October 5, 2021 – 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Location: CSRA RESA - 4683 Augusta HWY, S.E. - Dearing, GA 30808
Cost: $20.00 per person. Payment can be made the morning of the training. We accept cash, check, or money order (online payments cannot be taken at this time).
 
 
Online Substitute Trainings: These training sessions will take place online. Participants will be emailed a link to begin the session prior to the training. The training open at 9AM and will remain open until 3PM. Participants may work at their own pace. (Please check your spam folder if you do not receive the email by the session start date/time.) A CSRA RESA instructor will be available throughout the day to assist participants and will provide feedback. Participants unable to complete the training by 3PM will need to retake the class.

September 9, 2021 – 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
