Maintenance

The maintenance department is located next to the bus shop at 1404-C Harrison Road.  This department is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all buildings in the McDuffie County School System. 

Our maintenance staff consists of qualified professionals who work around the clock.  Their dedication to the school system is evident.  They provide all students, staff, and faculty with clean and efficient facilities to use every day.  To increase their quality of work, the maintenance staff attends mandatory trainings, meetings, and conferences on a regular basis.  

Their services include, but are not limited to:

• basic floor care, carpentry, cabinetry, plumbing
• ceiling, kitchen, and HVAC care
• furniture and appliances repair
• ground keeping and lawn care
• custodial services
• electricity, water, gas, and sewer
